Vice President, Client Engagement
For over 30 years, Jaye has been working with clients to develop brand, marketing and communications strategies that get results. In 1992, Jaye and her business partner purchased a 31-year old design firm from its founders, which then became The Donaldson Group, where Jaye was the company’s President & CEO. She has been building solid relationships ever since. As the VP of Client Engagement at BlueStar Communication Group, she continues to do the same.
Successful client relationships have included 3M, Aetna, The Hartford, IBM, Pitney Bowes, Henkel-Loctite, Simsbury Bank, Orvis, Physical Rehabilitation Network and many CT-based SMB organizations.
Jaye is the past chairman and president of the Association of Professional Design Firms (APDF) and on the Boards of The Greater Hartford YMCA and EO (Entrepreneur’s Organization). In 2003, she was named Hartford’s Rising Star Business Leader of the Year and in March 2004, was recognized by the Hartford Business Journal as one of Eight Remarkable Business Women. In 2001, Jaye was tabbed as one of the Top 50 to Watch in the Industry by Graphic Design: USA, and as one of the Top 40 Under Forty Business Leaders in Connecticut by The Hartford Business Journal in 1999. Participating in the community has been a large part of Jaye’s personal and professional life. She has previously served as a Board or business committee member for The First National Bank of Litchfield, The Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame, The Foundation for Mental Health, The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts and Hartford Hospital.
As an all-around sports enthusiast, you can find Jaye “playing” outdoors during her free time. But most of all, Jaye enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband; and of course, her two crazy rescue pups – who you will find accompanying her wherever the day might take her.
